Heber Springs High School will host a FAFSA DAY on Tuesday, October 5th from 8am - 6:30pm. This message is for every Senior at Heber Springs High School. Even if you are unsure if college is your choice this fall we encourage you to come fill out the form.
Parents, you (or your child) will need to bring a copy of the 2020 tax return or any W2.

AMERICAN LEGION SCHOLARSHIP
The American Legion is offering 8 scholarships to be awarded in the springs of 2022.
Application deadline - March 11, 2022
P.E.O. AMELIA FRANKUM STARLIGHT SCHOLARSHIP
$1000 scholarship availaible to a young woman graduating from high school and attending college. Application deadline - 02/25/22.
Scholarship applications are available in the counselor's office and may also be accessed on the school website under the "Counselor's Corner" tab.
A Heber Springs Schools school bus was involved in an accident this afternoon. Thankfully no injuries were reported and our students are safe. Thank you to those who reached out with assistance and concern.
A message was sent out through the Remind App concerning a 2:45 dismissal of students from Heber Elementary.

If you are using the REMIND APP for information, please make sure you are joined to HEBER SPRINGS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL and not HEBER ELEMENTARY.
Heber Elementary is a school in California.
Don’t forget that only High School students will be have the option to participate in Flex Friday this year. Students may work from home on this day or attend school to complete assignments. Students must have assignments completed by 8am Monday morning in order to count attendance for Friday.

The City of Heber Springs asked Heber Springs Schools to help keep Front and Pine Streets moving during pick up times. To assist in this effort, please do not enter Panther Alley or Circle Drive before 3:00pm each school day. Any individual in the pick up line before 3:00pm will be asked to leave and return at the appropriate time. The Heber Springs Police Department and Heber Springs Schools SROs will be assisting us in this process.

The Heber Springs Panthers Track & Field team is hosting the Jr. High Track Meet today at Heber Springs Schools. Please don’t forget that N. 11th St. will be closed to thru traffic so that team school busses have a location to park.
Heber Springs Schools will be passing out food boxes from the Arkansas Food Bank this Thursday from 4:00-5:30 at Heber Springs Middle School. Please contact Bonnie Webber for more information:

Heber Springs Panthers Track & Field will host the 7th grade meet today at Heber Springs Schools. The Jr. High meet will be held on Tuesday and the Sr. High meet will be held on Thursday.
Please be aware that beginning around 1:30pm on these days North 11th Street (Methodist Church Hill) will be closed to thru traffic so that busses will be able to park without any issues.

ASU - Heber Springs will be hosting three FAFSA WORKSHOPS to help you and your family fill out the FAFSA for college financial aid.
Please take the opportunity to utilize this free service!
Workshops will be on the ASU-Heber Springs campus:
March 30th (4-7)
April 1st (4-7)
April 11th (2-4)
Juniors will be taking the ACT test this Tuesday, March 9th. This is a free test for ALL Juniors—on-site, remote, and flex. Testing will begin at 8am, so Juniors are asked to be on campus by 7:45.
All 9th, 10th, and 12th Grade students have the option of being Virtual on this day. Juniors have the option of finishing the day as a Virtual student once the test is finished.
