Parents and students: College Night will be Tuesday, Oct. 11th from 5:00-7:00 pm in the new gym. All Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores, along with their parents, are invited to visit with college
Seniors 2017 there will be a meeting on Thursday, October 6th in the Performing Arts Center during 2nd Homeroom. Please make every effort to attend!
The HSHS Homecoming Parade will be Friday, October 14th at 2:00 pm. Line up will begin at City Hall parking lot. The parade will be followed by a city wide pep rally at First Baptist Church Parking Lot. Go Panthers!
HSHS Tennis teams competed in their conference tournament. Lauren Lynch, Brandon Blankenship and Seth Jenkins qualified for 4A State Tournament. Lynea Cutshall, Jacob Blasingame, Noah Patton, Ashlyn Garrett and Tess Temple played very well. So proud of these student athletes!
SONIC BLAST: October 14th 4-7 pm, hosted by Randy Rainwater, Barry Grooms, and Rick Shaffer.
Appointments for shots will not be sufficient. Shots must be completed, and students will not be permitted to school without the completed forms.

Attention Parents and Students: If you received a letter stating your student needs immunizations, those must be finished and the form returned to the school by 8:00 am, Oct. 1st.

Seniors - The VFW is sponsoring a Voice of Democracy Scholarship Competition. Information can be found in the guidance office or on the bulletin board outside.

Parents and students, as you buy school clothes this summer, please be mindful of the student dress code. It has not changed, but it will be enforced. Of particular concern are tank tops/spaghetti straps, tights/yoga type pants, jeans with holes above the knees, and short shorts. Please refer to the student handbook for a complete description of acceptable student dress. Thanks, and have a great remainder of the summer.
JUNE ACT- Last day to register without a late fee is Friday, May 6.
