The AR Association of Fed. Coordinators is offering a scholarship for students who plan to major in education. Info is on-line and in the guidance office. Info has also been emailed to all seniors.

High School students will be doing interim testing on Wednesday, Nov. 29th and Thursday, Nov. 30th. Students will be on an alternate schedule that will be provided to them at school. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is available at (www.fafsa.ed.gov). Students use their parent's 2016 tax information. Attain FSAID # at (fsaid.ed gov). This ID # allows both to sign.

The AR Challenge/Lottery Scholarship is available at
www.scholarships.adhe.edu. Students must have a 19 on the ACT to qualify. Deadline is June 1, 2018.

VFW's Voice of Democracy Scholarship Application is available on-line and in the guidance office. Essay topic is: "American History: Our Hope for the Future". Deadline is October 31, 2017.

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held at the High School on Tuesday, September 19th from 1:30pm-7:30pm, and on Wednesday, September 20th from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Both days will be early release days. School will end for students at 1:00pm, and buses will depart campus as soon as they are loaded. We welcome the parents of High School Students to attend.

All students immunizations must be up to date by September 12th. Any student who turned 16 after September 1st, 2017 must have received the MCV4 vaccination. Any student not up to date after September 12th cannot be permitted to school. Any questions about your child's vaccinations can be be answered by the county health department or your school nurse.
