Heber Springs Schools is in the process of applying for the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant, a program that supports the creation of community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children.

Parents, don’t forget that the Elementary Christmas Program is TODAY in the Panther Den beginning at 1:30pm. Please sit on the Visitor side of the gym. Students will be seated on the Home side of the gym from left to right with Kindergarten in the first section and 5th grade in the section closest to the concession stand.
For those who are unable to attend, the program will be broadcast live on the HEBER SPRINGS ELEMENTARY Facebook page.
BASKETBALL UPDATE
Thursday’s 7th Grade and Jr High games at eStem Downtown will begin at 5:30.
7th Grade Girls will NOT play this night.
Game lineup will be 7B, JG, JB.
If you signed your child up for Little Dribblers…TODAY is the first practice.
Participating students will be dismissed before the bell to meet members of the Jr. High Girls basketball team in the Elementary Library. They will then walk over to the Old Gym for practice.
Practice will be from 3:30 to 5:00.
Parents please pick your child up at the Old Gym at 5pm.

Yesterday, the district received a HUGE donation of Lysol wipes (5,000 boxes) from the Frontline Impact Heroes for Healthy Schools Campaign.

Unfortunately, due to weather concerns for tomorrow, the field trip to the Visitors Center/ Dam in the morning and the Get Real Simulation on campus in the afternoon have had to be canceled.
The Heber Springs Schools Veterans Day Ceremony will be in the Panther Den this afternoon beginning at 12:30.
The students of Heber Springs Schools would like to invite you to our Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday, November 11, at Panther Stadium. The program will begin at 12:30pm. We hope to see you there!
Due to the possibility of inclement weather, tomorrow night's Senior High Football game at Riverview will begin at 6pm
Jostens will host a class ring premiere for all Juniors on November 10th at 12:15pm.
The students of Heber Springs Schools would like to invite the Heber Springs community to Panther Stadium on Friday, November 11th at 12:30pm as we honor the great men and women of our nation in our annual Veterans Day Ceremony.
A section of Panther Alley will be closed off today beginning at 4pm for Tailgating on the Hill. Those who pickup Preschool students after 4pm will need to pick up their child at the Elementary School Circle Drive.
Don't forget that picture day is TOMORROW for our Heber Springs Students (Preschool will be Monday), and it is also picture day for our Seniors who need their picture taken or just retakes.
You can order your package online or fill out and return the order form that was sent home with your student.
The 7th Grade Football game will begin at 5:30pm tonight at Harding Academy. Jr. High Football is scheduled to begin at 6:30pm or 15 minutes after the end of the 7th Grade game (whichever happens first)
