We realize this information may be frustrating but, late this afternoon, our Transportation Director spent time inspecting the county roads and bus routes of our district and they still do not look safe for travel. In an abundance of caution, we will utilize one more AMI day tomorrow (Monday, February 7th). We apologize for the late notice, as we were hopeful we could have school on Monday, but we are concerned with the safety of our staff, students, and their family members.
Please remember that Tuesday, February 8th, is a “Virtual Day” for our students due to Parent/Teacher Conferences. Conferences will last from 8:00am-7:00pm.

ATTENTION ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 1st!
All Juniors (on-site and virtual) will take the ACT test free of charge at Heber Springs High School. Juniors will need to be on campus by 7:45am that morning so that testing can begin promptly at 8:00am. Juniors have the option of finishing the day as flex/virtual once the ACT test is completed.
9th, 10th, and 12th grade students have the option of being a flex/virtual student on this day and are NOT required to be at school to complete their work.

The 7th Grade Bauxite Jamboree scheduled for Saturday, January 29th, has been canceled...however, the 7th Grade teams will play Maumelle Charter in the Panther Den beginning at 9:00am on Saturday.

Don't forget that Tuesday, February 8th, is a "virtual day" for all Heber Springs Schools students. That means students WILL NOT be on campus that day, but will have work assigned beforehand to complete from home.
This day will be used as the Spring Parent/Teacher Conference date. Teachers will be on campus from 8am-7pm to meet with parents.
Elementary teachers have sent home letters to parents to schedule specific times. If you have not received a letter, please contact your child's teacher.
Middle School and High School teachers will be on campus all day for drop in conferences.
